Activities

A wide selection of sports and recreation activities will be available including various inflatable action games, and free basketball. These activities and the skate park require reasonable usage fees not included in the event ticket price. Remember to bring additional spending money if you wish to participate.

Skate Park

Skateboarders are required to wear safety gear, and minors must have parental release forms.

Both skateboards and roller blades will be allowed at the Skate Park. A waiver must be signed before entering the Skate Park (if under 18 waiver needs to have a parent or guardian signature!).

Waivers are available for download at the top of this page. Waivers are available through the SWC Administration office by fax or mail. The skater needs to bring the waiver with them to the Skate Park. (Do not return it to the SWC office.) Waivers will also be available at the Skate Park during the Festival. The Skate Park will offer a half pipe, a spine, a fun box and more.

3 Session Times daily:

  1. 10:00 am - 11:00 am, ages 7 - 10
  2. 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm, ages 11 and older
  3. 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Thurs & Fri - 11 & older, Saturday - all ages
  4. 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm Thurs & Fri only - all ages

There is also the possibility of 1 evening session TBA depending on lighting and concert situations.

Helmets, minimal fee. Limited skateboards, minimal fee.
It is highly recommended that you bring your own gear. Rental equipment is first-come first-served.

 Sports & Action Games

A wide selection of sports and recreation activities will be available including various inflatable action games and free basketball. Balls may be checked out at the Information / Lost & Found booth in the Exhibit Tent. Additional pay-per-play activities include the mechanical bull, bungee trampoline and rock-climbing walls. These activities require reasonable usage fees not included in the event ticket price.

Remember to bring additional spending money if you wish to participate.

Inflatables: Tickets are $1 each (1-3 tickets per inflatable). A full-day pass is $20.

Shopping

The vast Exhibit Tent and outdoor Vendor Island will provide an enjoyable shopping experience for all those attending the Festival. Dozens of exhibitors will showcase their businesses, art, ministries, music and products. SWC artists will be selling their latest CDs as well as T-shirts and miscellaneous items. Look for jewelry, clothing, hats, skateboards, portraits, books, Bibles, posters, novelty items and much more! Don't forget to stop by the SWC booth to pick up the official 2010 SWC T-shirt! ATM machines are available at SWC.

Sightseeing

Before and after Spirit West Coast, you'll find a variety of activities to enjoy; play a round of golf; browse through art galleries; sail the bay and scuba dive; visit Fisherman's Wharf and the historic Cannery Row; see the world renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium. Visit the Victorian homes and country inns of Pacific Grove or the quaint European village of Carmel-by-the-Sea. There you'll also find the Carmel Mission, founded in 1770. Come early, stay late, and enjoy all that this beautiful "world-class" resort area has to offer. A free packet of visitor information is available by calling the Monterey County Tourism Alliance toll free at 1-888-221-1010. Don't forget to stop by Isabella's on the Wharf or Lattitudes at Lover's Point (Pacific Grove) for scrumptious coastal cuisine.
